Foodie Pen Pal Reveal!

I was so lucky this month to get a box filled with treats from Kate. Before I even opened the package I knew it was special. She sent it in a really fun gift box wrapped in bubble wrap so it looked bright and exciting before I even opened it up to find all my goodies nestled inside.

See that Fudge Factory bag there? All the contents are GONE. There was the most epic, amazing piece of fudge in there plus two hot chocolate swirlers with marshmallow centres!

I've also got some gorgeous smoked tomatoes (love a smokey flavour!) popping candy (gone) and two packs from The Spicery which I am really looking forward to trying out- one for pickled pears and one for a spiced hot chocolate. I think I might be playing with these packs this weekend!

Kate did a great job at listening to the sort of things I liked and giving me some new things to try. Thanks so much- this really was such a great box!

If you'd like to join Foodie Penpals, a once a month foodie exchange, visit theleangreenbean for the low down (she started it). If you're in the UK or Europe, head straight to thisisrocksalt where the very organised Carol Anne sorts everything out for those who live over the pond.

Ohhhh, fudge. I sent some pop rocks candy to my niece and nephew a few weeks back and they freaked out. Not in a good way. What seven and five year olds don't like popping candy? Crazy.

I must admit that as I was eating the popping candy, couldn't help but think of all those YouTube videos of babies eating lemons and wondered what small children would think of the candy!

Everything in the box was amazing, I was such a lucky gal. Foodie Pen Pals is loads of fun, a new surprise in the post each month- yes please!
